Details
A delightful matched pair of Victorian Staffordshire pottery King Charles Spaniel figures, circa 1860. These classic mantelpiece ornaments depict seated spaniels with rust-red patches on a white ground, with gilt chain collars, painted facial features, and characteristic sponge-decorated coats. The flat backs confirm their intended display on a mantelpiece or shelf. Each figure stands approximately 28cm tall. Both are in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs; minor kiln imperfections consistent with period manufacture. A quintessential piece of Victorian domestic charm.
