The vase features a mesmerising overlay of cascading wisteria blossoms in deep amethyst purple over a pale amber and frosted white ground. Created using the acid-etching and wheel-carving cameo technique that made Gallé world-famous. Signed ‘Gallé’ in cameo relief on the body. Height: 32cm. No chips, cracks, or restoration. An outstanding example from the golden age of French Art Nouveau.
