An authentic Japanese katana dating to the Edo period, circa 1750. The blade measures 68cm (nagasa) with a graceful torii sori curvature and beautiful hamon (temper line) in a gunome-midare pattern. The tang (nakago) bears a two-character mei (signature) attributed to the Bizen tradition. The koshirae (mountings) include a black lacquered saya (scabbard) with subtle nashiji finish, iron tsuba with pierced cherry blossom design, and silk-wrapped tsuka (handle) with menuki ornaments. Overall length: 98cm. Includes a custom wooden storage box and silk sword bag.
